Harriette Joffe's images tell stories, some autobiographical, some historical, mythological or Biblical. Joffe’s output has taken many forms from abstraction to figurative, encaustic painting to printmaking, sculpture, furniture, woodcarving and performance art. Her work has been dedicated to the constant discovery of nature, one element stimulating another, the transference of energy and primitive rhythms to all living things.
