2007

These monoprints were based on old Jewish fairy tales and myths from around the world. The suite is called “Elijah’s Violin” after a collection of tales of that name by Howard Schwartz. Others are from the wonderful myths and history about the Queen of Sheba and her journey to meet king Solomon. Certainly Sheba was the first woman to create a multimillion dollar trade arrangement between Ethiopia and King Solomon. All of the monotypes are 30″ by 22″.
